A BRIEF DISCUSSION BETWEEN IFSSA AND YUSOF ECOFARM
June 3rd, 2020- Yusof EcoFarm, which is a small and medium enterprise (SME) interested to collaborate under the Agro-based Industry Product Development (ABID). A brief discussion has taken place in meeting room in IFSSA to discuss on collaboration. The owner is interested to produce instant cooking paste using the technology and facilities provided in ABID. The owner is positive that UMK can add value to the company's product development in terms of enhanced packaging and shelf-life.

Despite the Movement Control Order (MCO) by the government to curb the coronavirus spread, the demand for fresh vegetable are still very high. Therefore, IFSSA has decided to contribute to the society by distributing the fresh vegetables grown to the community of UMK. Most of the vegetables are of popular variety such as red spinach. So far, two CSR programs has taken place, which was on 31st March and 7th April 2020.
