What is IFSSA

IFSSA stands for Institute of Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture. IFSSA is one of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) under the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) office and located in UMK Jeli campus.

What are courses organized in IFSSA

IFSSA mainly takes part in organizing course related to food processing and agriculture in collaboration with other faculties such as Faculty of Agro Based Industry (FIAT) and Faculty of Bioengineering and Technology (FBKT). Previous courses including Frozen Food, Sijil Latihan Pengendali Makanan, Hidroponic and so on.

What are the services provided by IFSSA

As for now, IFSSA provides rental services for food processing and packaging, and laboratory testing.

Is it possible to do practical/ industrial training in IFSSA

Yes. Those who are interested to apply may send their form to HR office in UMK Bachok by stating IFSSA in their application.
